OK, not the best campground at all

Well after a filling meal we made it to Back Acres Campground on Lake Senaca in Himrod, NY.  It was still early enough when we got there to take a swim in the late. The water was cold, but it felt good.

Sadly this turned out to be our worst campground so far. Like the one in Vermont on the last trip it was mainly seasonal people, except that these were all poor white trash. They weren't very friendly and were loud, and often drunk.

We took a drive down to Watkins Glen and walked around town a bit and checked out the end of Lake Senaca. It looked like rain was coming so we grabbed some local beers and went back to the campground for dinner.

We've got 3 nights here, hopefully it won't be too bad.

There was a big party this evening with a live band, actually the band was good. I guess this is there last hurrah weekend at the campground.

Airstream Log: This trip 413 miles and 1 nights . Lifetime 1687 miles and 11 nights
