Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument

Tent Rocks is a cool set of cone shaped rocks.

We did a great hike through a slot canyon to a little peak the overlooked the area.
It was another hot day but we started on the early side. The climb wasn't high but it was steep at the end.

A lot of the casual visitors were very tired when we got to the top.

Good view of why it is called tent rocks.

Those tents are only about 20 feet high, there were much taller ones around too.

Hiking through the slot canyon was really nice and cool thanks to the shade it provided.
Some bigger tents although they aren't as tent-like as the smaller ones.
Some of the tight spots in the canyon were even more narrow than this one!
