Exit Glacier, in the Sun!

This was a scenic photo stop on the road we passed a number of times always in the clouds! Finally we got to stop and take a picture in the sun!

There is a nice blue green lake back there.

Exit Glacier is the only part of the Kenai Fjords National Park that you can drive to (we saw the park via our boat trip).

It has several hiking trails to see the glacier.

All along the property they have signs that have dates representing where the end of the glacier was during the year on the sign

We have now seen many glaciers several up close and the most from far away.

Even if we didn't hike all that far today the sun inspired us to head back to Seward to get Ice Cream!

 I liked this sign.

This was Kenai Lake which our campground was on. There were some pedal boats but we never made it out onto the lake in them.

Tonight we will pack up and tomorrow head to Homer.
