Today we visited the Museum of the North at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, it was good museum that mixed a lot of culture and science exhibits together. They also a few good movies about living in the extreme cold of Fairbanks and the Aurora Borealis.
Our campground here is really nice and has a nice nature trail along a river where I can walk Maxwell. The city is a bit sad overall. We took a tour of it on our bikes after we arrived yesterday and most of the downtown area is closed.
About all that keeps this town going is the Airforce base nearby which they are thinking of closing down soon.
Here is Will with the museums mascot, they as you take pictures with the bear and send them in. I am not sure what they do with them, I have to remember to send this one it.
